The Sparco X-Light+ is the ultimate ultra-lightweight racing shoe. The X-Light + is the only racing shoe on the market featuring a full fabric upper. This unique fireproof stretch fabric was developed by Sparco engineers to be breathable and durable while maintaining heat- and flame-resistance.
The X-Light+ stretch fabric wraps around the foot like a second skin, preventing dust, soil, and other materials from entering the shoe. Kevlar cables woven into the upper give your foot just the right amount of support. Heat exhaustion can break your focus and cause you to make mistakes. The structured cooling vein design of Chillout Systems garments cool your core even at temperatures close to ambient (55o F optimum), cooling the whole body and boosting your mental focus. Systems using ice water are often too cold for efficient cooling, causing the capillaries just below the skin surface to close, slowing blood flow back to the core. Ice water systems can give the perception of cooling by changing the temperature of the skin without actually lowering your body temperature.
