Schroth Clubman 2x2 6 Point Racing Harness Schroth's Clubman has one aim: to provide a superior harness for people needing a lower-cost belt. The Clubman features Frontal Head Restraint (FHR) specific 2” shoulder belts, 2" Clubman pull up lap belts, and a T-bar non adjustable sub strap. Shoulders and sub strap hardware is wrapped in. The FHR specific shoulder belts are designed to make FHR use safer and more comfortable. The full 2" shoulder webbing fits perfecting on a FHR device, creating optimal force distribution on the surface of the device. ADJUSTERS AND OPTIONS The adjusters on the Clubman belt are heavier and not as easy to use. They are, however, cheaper and bring down the overall cost of the harness. If you're putting harnesses in your Porsche GT3, GT3RS, or GT4 with the Lightweight Bucket (LWB) seat setup, you'll want these belts! The Flexi 2x2 GT3 features 2” shoulder belts ideal for Frontal Head Restraint (FHR or HANS) devices. It has 2" pull-down Profi lap belts with sewn-in anchors specifically made for Porsche's carbon fiber Lightweight Bucket ("LWB") seats. A 2" belt rides within the crest of the human pelvis, where a 3" belt would rest on the edges. This allows you to get the belt up to an inch-and-a-half tighter, so the lap belt will work earlier in an accident because it gets loaded faster. It's also more comfortable and easier to adjust as there's less friction through the adjuster. Comes with Porsche-specific attachments for the lap belts and snap-in attachments at sub-strap points. Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness (Anti-Sub) The Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness (Anti-Sub) integrates Schroth’s unique ASM (Anti-SubMarining) technology in a four-point system. The ideal harness for stock seats, or seats not designed for a pass-through for a sub strap, that are used in Driver Education programs. Schroth’s ASM is an extra fold of material sewn into the inboard shoulder belt, elongating at a separate rate compared to the outboard belt. This allows two movements: the upper torso can twist slightly, and on the rebound phase, the torso is planted firmly back in the seat instead of sliding under the lap belt. The Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness is good for use with a HANS device or other Head and Neck Restraint (HNR). The ASM shoulder strap on the ASM is 3” width, which will work with any HNR. A dual or single strap can be added to convert this belt into a 5- or 6- point system. The shoulders are ready to wrap around a roll bar, and snap-in or bolt-in attachments can be purchased. The Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness also features a “Flex Belt.” Instead of being sewn into the harness, the cam latches and end fittings are wrapped, making configuration changes from a Pull-Up to a Pull-Down configuration quick and easy. The Safe, Street Legal 4 Point Harness The Profi II ASM FE is essentially the same as the Profi II ASM, except it features a Push-Button cam lock. The red push button that says "Press" is necessary to retain street legality and so an EMT who shows up at an accident scene will know how to release your restraint. The FE version also features sewn in, bendable bolt-in tabs for the lap belt attachments, for use in applications where space is limited. It's designed to be used as a four point system, perfect for use in Driver Education cars or any other application where stock seats are retained. (A seat that was not originally designed for a sub strap should never be modified to accept one.) The Profi II ASM incorporates Schroth's legendary ASM (Anti Sub Marining) technology that is the only thing like it on the market. ASM is an extra fold of material sewn into the right shoulder belt that elongates at a different rate than the outboard belt. This allows your upper torso to twist slightly. On the rebound phase, your torso is planted firmly back in the seat rather than allowed to slide under the lap belt. You can add a single or dual sub strap to make this belt into a 5 point or 6 point at any time. Schroth tested this harness with a HANS device and the results were great. You can use a 4 point ASM Harness with any HANS device. The lap belts provided with this harness are only available with bolt-in hardware (it's sewn in) as they are most commonly needed in setups requiring street legality. Schroth Quick-Fit 4-Point Harness The Quick Fit Harness from Schroth is an excellent harness solution for people who have dual duty cars (track and street). Not many of us have the means to support a full time track vehicle as well as a street car, and still more of us like driving track-prepared cars on the street. The ultimate harness solution includes fixed-back Kevlar seats, a gazillion point welded roll-cage and a HANS device. None of us are going to (nor do we recommend) do this in our street cars. What's the next best thing? The Schroth Quick Fit Harness. It anchors to factory points, which means you don't have to worry about it ripping out of the sheet metal. The factory points are load tested to withstand a 3,000-pound force for 6 seconds. It has ASM technology that keeps the lap belt low and your rear end firmly planted in the seat. You don't want the lap belt riding up and squeezing your stomach and intestines. A Schroth belt is designed not to. The Quick Fit Belts also take advantage of the factory seat belt pre-tensioner, a device that tightens the belt 1-2 inches in the event of an accident. The Airbags will deploy as the engineers of the system intended for someone buckled in. With any other harness, the car wouldn't detect that someone was buckled in, so the airbags would deploy faster and harder. They also come completely out of the car, giving you full use of your street car for carrying people or cargo. That is what it's for, isn't it? Perfect for HPDE, Track Day, and Driving School cars, the Schroth Quick-Fit Pro 4 Point Harness provides your customers a safer, more authentic driving experience by driving with a HANS device. With this harness, you don't have to spend thousands of dollars on a roll bar, new seats, and six-point harnesses to run safely on track! Coupled with a vehicle’s existing safety systems, the Schroth Quick-Fit Pro 4 Point Harness is designed to maximize effectiveness of your HANS device. Traditional four-point harnesses are sewn to lap belts, and don’t join at the center cam lock. This creates a six- to eight-inch gap. The Schroth Quick-Fit Pro 4 Point Harness answers this problem by allowing each shoulder belt to angle towards the cam lock, integrating with the HANS device. The Schroth Quick-Fit Pro 4 Point Harness works in conjunction with your car’s seat belt pre-tensioner and airbag for additional peace of mind. The Quick Fit Pro clicks into the car’s female seat belt receptacle, notifying the car’s airbag computer that the seat is in use and the driver is restrained. The pre-tensioner is also activated. This device ignites a pyrotechnic charge if an accident happens, tightening the lap belt and holding your driver in snugly. Schroth Right Side Net The Schroth right side driver's net offers the best in driver safety. Attaches to the roll cage of your race car. Made of polyester, these nets will last longer than ordinary nylon nets. Polyester is not as susceptible to UV degradation over time. We view right side nets (also called "cage nets") as a mandatory piece of safety equipment. In an impact, the body moves forward 6-8 inches. This is normal and quite necessary to prevent injury, with the harness stretching to help decelerate the body. If you're in a lateral impact (an impact that's not straight on), there are high lateral forces that will move you side-to-side. Without a right side net, it's very easy for the body to wrap around the side of the seat when the harnesses have stretched. A right side net prevents this by guiding your head and shoulders back into the seat keeping you from painful injury. Please note, this used to be an SFI-rated product, but is now FIA-rated. DETAILS: Schroth nets are tested with a dynamic load to more accurately represent the real world. Carefully read the section about installing the net in your race car. The FIA requires that two vertical sections are in contact with the seat back to provide support. Schroth has added additional vertical sections to the FIA net, differentiating it from SFI-rated nets. Also make note of the angles involved in the installation. The FIA recommends that a net be installed on either side of the seat for driver restraint. The FIA does not view the exterior net as adequate for restraining the driver; they want to see two interior nets whenever possible. The Tudor series currently enforces this and mandates two interior nets as well as a window net. The FIA requires that the net be mount with the horizontal sections of webbing on the inside by the driver, so the drivers helmet has a smooth surface to slide down during an impact. On Schroth nets, this can be accomplished on both sides just be flipping the net over. The FIA requires that the quick-release button be capable of being released under load, which is way Schroth developed their new style quick-release. The ratchet strap and metal clasp (seen on previous nets) have been removed from the net due to their inability to withstand an appropriate dynamic load. The new quick-release is lighter and safer than previous versions.

Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints are the new Frontal Head Restraint device from Schroth. Built for superior safety, comfort, and implementation. Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraint Features: Simple sizing: Choose from Medium (up to 15 ½” neck) or Large. Drivers who want more space for their collarbone can opt for the Large size. Angle independent: Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints have a small, low collar which is suited for all seating angles without interfering with the seatback. In the event of an impact, the articulating collar rises to support the ideal tether angle - great for drivers who have multiple cars. Load-controlling “bump stop”: Use the device that gives you a proper collar angle. The Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints legs are attached to the collar itself, along with a unique “bump stop” which smooths out the initial tether loading. Floating tether: Stay in place while enjoying a wide range of left-to-right head motion plus some side stability. Flexible legs: There’s no need for pads here as the legs of the device have padding molded right in. The belts can then fit snug to the body, keeping the Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints from moving beneath the belts. Retention ears: Extended vertical ears on the outside edge help secure your belts to the FLEX even in the event of a secondary impact. Slip-stop: Pair Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraints with SCHROTH Slip-Stop shoulder belts for high-impact rally and offroad uses. The shoulder belts have a counter groove on the backside of the belt, matching with the grooves on the top and lower legs of the FLEX. If that is the case, you need a set of these harness pads to provide a soft cushion between the webbing and your skin. Other people use them as stylish comfort add-ons to their factory 3-Point restraints. Made of high quality polyester, these pads can be washed, and can be installed/removed in seconds.
