Sparco Prime-R Racing Shoe Sparco's Prime-R racing shoe takes the highly breathable approach that brought the Prime-T, but in a more traditional design. Flat laces are added to the ultra-lightweight shoe, with a single thin velcro strap that not only provides additional ankle support, but acts as a lace-keeper. The preforated leather upper maximizes breathability, and compliments the highly breathable inner fabric. A padded tongue executed from ultra-breathable fabric and the heel is designed to dampen vibrations, an excellent feature for today's most powerful race cars, while the thin rubber sole features a contrasting grip texture to maximize pedal control. Abrasion resistant leather inserts are strategically placed on the outside of the shoe to increase durability and scuff resistance.
