The Pagid RSL 29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport. Based on the out-going 01-compound, Performance Friction's 11-compound takes the same great high-bite and torque but with even better rotor and pad wear characteristics and improved bite, modulation, and release. Exhibiting a very high initial bite and torque, very little temperature induced torque rise follows. Less torque scatter exists for improved modulation with excellent release, helping to eliminate wheel lock at the end of a stop.

Pagid R01 Compound:
A new compound specifically designed for the Mazda MX-5 ND, Pagid R01 is a flat medium-torque, high performance friction compound offering good modulation, control, and fade resistance. Suitable for medium temperature range applications such as high performance street driving, autocross, track days, Club Racing an Rally. .
Pagid RSL 1 Compound
Used in GT cars, touring cars and prototype endurance racing. Due to the high friction and good modulation, often used in sprint races as well. RSL 1 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers with very high heat resistance. It maintains a constant friction level over a wide range of temperatures. Its reduced wear rate and disc friendliness make this material appropriate for endurance races.
RSL 29 Compound:

The semi-metallic compound maintains a consistent coefficient of friction from 0o to 1000o F, making them an ideal option for people who are looking for a dual-purpose pad that works really well on both the street and the race track. The formula has very little compressibility, ensuring a very firm pedal and immediate bite and making the S/S pads a favorite among autocrossers and drivers who demand the most out of their street cars.
Inevitably, these pads will dust more than Girodisc Magic Pads, but with the Girodisc anti-noise shims that come on every set of pads they will not make any noise if they are bedded-in properly.
We recommend always replacing pads as a whole car set when switching compounds. All S/S pads come with anti-noise shims pre-installed and included in the price.
