Pagid Pre-Bedding Service
Some Pagid racing brake pads are available pre-bedded and “ready to race”. Good preparation and adjustment of the car is the basic requirement for any successful race. Bedding the brake components requires good concentration, experience and a lot of training time. But time is often crucial and you need to save it for other purposes.
Incorrectly bedded brakes reduce the controllability and the lifetime of the pads and discs. The maximum braking performance can only be achieved by correctly bedded brake parts.
To save time and money, we offer pre-bedding brake pads via a computer controlled system. Using the right sensory input, we can precisely bed in your pads free from environmental influences like traffic, rain, and even driver training.
Pagid RSL 1 Compound
Used in GT cars, touring cars and prototype endurance racing. Due to the high friction and good modulation, often used in sprint races as well. RSL 1 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers with very high heat resistance. It maintains a constant friction level over a wide range of temperatures. Its reduced wear rate and disc friendliness make this material appropriate for endurance races.
Pagid RSL 1E Compound:
RSL 1E is perfect as front axle application for long endurance GT and touring car racing. RSL 1E and RSL 1 are low metallic resin bonded materials containing steel and aramid fibers with very high heat resistance. They maintain a constant friction level over a wide range of temperatures. Their reduced wear rate and disc friendliness make these materials appropriate for endurance races.
RSL 1E is further improved in terms of pad life and modulation as well as friction stability at high temperatures and pad life. As a benefit, RSL 1E provides the lowest pad wear rate in the PAGID Racing portfolio for highly thermally loaded applications.
Pagid RSL 2 Compound:
RSL 2 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers with high heat resistance. It maintains a constant friction level over a wide range of temperatures. Its reduced wear rate and disc friendliness make this material appropriate for endurance races on applications with high cooling efficiency. RSL 2 features excellent pad life and modulation, as well as friction stability at high temperatures.
Applications include GT cars, touring cars and prototype endurance racing. Due to excellent modulation characteristics, RSL 2 is often also used in sprint races.
Pagid RST 1 Compound
Used in Rally tarmac, GT cars and touring cars circuit racing (sprint), high down-force formula cars, NASCAR. Suitable for applications in heavy cars and where high torque is necessary against small diameter rotors. RST 1 has a very high friction level and high temperature resistance. It is a semi-metallic resin bonded material containing steel fibers. Cold friction and initial bite makes this material most appropriate for Rally and NASCAR applications.

D2-022 Girodisc Rear Replacement Rotor Rings

Girodisc D2-022 Replacement Rotor Rings Only
This kit is for two replacement 330mm rotor rings for the Girodisc A2-022 Two Piece Floating Rotors. It contains rotor rings and new installation hardware only, no aluminum center hats. Please note that unless specifically noted, Girodisc replacement rings are only designed to work with Girodisc hats. They are not designed to be used with other brands, including hats from cars equipped with 2-piece rotors from the factory.
High Performance Replacement Brake Rotor Rings
These rotor rings are attached to the rotor hat (not included) by a floating mount system using 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. The drive pins bear the braking load while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side, allowing the rotor to grow with heat expansion while eliminating the rattle typically associated with floating rotors. A floating rotor will also self-center between the pads.

Front axle usage for lighter GT and touring cars.

A race and track day compound for all known types of ceramic brake discs, RSC 1 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers. This material features good all-round characteristics and is suitable for all types of usage.

Pagid RSL 19 Compound:
Pagid RSL 19 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers. It maintains a constant friction level across a broad range of temperatures. The material features very good modulation and release characteristics. Rear axle usage in combination with RSL 1 or RSL 2 on the front axle in heavier cars (GT3/GTE). Front axle usage for lighter GT and touring cars.
Pagid RSL 1 Compound:
Used in GT cars, touring cars and prototype endurance racing. Due to the high friction and good modulation, often used in sprint races as well. RSL 1 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers with very high heat resistance. It maintains a constant friction level over a wide range of temperatures. Its reduced wear rate and disc friendliness make this material appropriate for endurance races.
Pagid RSC 1 Compound (Ceramic Rotors Only):
A race and track day compound for all known types of ceramic brake discs, RSC 1 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers. This material features good all-round characteristics and is suitable for all types of usage.
Pagid RSC 2 Compound (Ceramic Rotors Only):
Pagid RSC 2 is a special race compound for ceramic discs with a high content of fibers in the friction surface for sprint and endurance circuit racing. RSC 2 is a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers. This material is specifically developed for above mentioned applications.

The Atom suit has a two-layer construction with a soft knitted liner for optimum levels of protection, and driver comfort. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favor in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.
