Sparco Victory Driver Suit 8856-2000 This evolution of the Victory auto racing Driver Suit features an updated, softer HOCOTEX® material. The Victory features an all-new design with four new colorways. SINGLE LAYER CONSTRUCTION, MULTI-LAYER PROTECTION The Victory is the result of over three years of research and development. Sparco has patented a new technology called HOCOTEX® which revolutionizes the way racing suits are made. This new exclusive Sparco technology creates a single layer fabric which has the protection of what is normally achieved by a multi-layer fabric. The Victory is the only single layer suit to pass the SFI 3.2/5 rating. The Victory is both SFI 3.2A/5 and FIA 8856-2000 homologated. UNPRECEDENTED COMFORT Thanks to HOCOTEX®, the Victory is twice as breathable as a suit produced using traditional technology. The use of this thinner fabric allows the Victory to have ultimate flexibility, featuring stretch arm gussets that provide more mobility in a seated driving position. IMPROVED FIRE RESISTANCE Traditional racing suits have layers of fabric sewn together with a quilted pattern. The quilting provides air space between the layers which bloats in a fire, this provides thermal protection to the driver. HOCOTEX® creates a honeycomb structure with internal air cells that ensure the driver even more fire protection. Traditional box quilting creates an average of 300 air chambers in a size 52 suit. The Victory has over 60,000 microcell air chambers which provide a 10 to 12% increase in heat protection performance. The Victory is available in boot cuff or standard cuff (size 48 to 66) in five colors: White/Red, White/Blue, Grey/Orange, Grey/Blue, and Black/Grey. Sparco X-Light Driver Suit The Sparco X-Light is a all-new design for this year with an extra focus on comfort. The X-light pushes the boundaries of Sparco’s revolutionary lightweight suit design, using a new lightweight Nomex outer layer along with an ultra-soft inner layer which provides superior fire protection with a comfortable feel. The X-Light features stretch panel technology from the HOCOTEX Eagle suit. The Eagle stretch fabric is lighter and more durable than traditional stretch fabric. The X-light has pre-curved fully floating sleeves with stretch elbow panels, multi directional back stretch panels along with full side stretch panels that run from under the arm to the thighs. The X-Light has another unique feature which is a breathable stretch panel that runs from inner thigh to inner thigh. The X-Light has the most stretch panels of any Sparco suit which gives ultimate comfort in the seated driving position. The X-Light is available in five colors in sizes from 48-66. Sparco X-Light Racing Shoes The lightweight Sparco X-Light shoe was developed using feedback from Sparco’s professional drivers. This development program created some unique features for the new shoe. In place of a traditional tongue, the X-light uses a durable fabric called Jaquard that acts as an upper stretch panel. This unique upper reaches a whole new level in racing shoe comfort by letting them stretch and breath. The same Jaquard material is on the backside of the shoe, allowing the Achilles unrestricted movement. The X-Light has Sparco's next generation sole made from lightweight pure rubber, enhancing pedal feel while remaining anti-static, fuel- and oil-resistant. The mid-cut design features a full ultra-soft calf skin leather upper with perforated vents. The X-Light has a pre-formed cushioned insole. The Sparco X-Light is available in four colors: White/Red, Blue/White, Grey/Orange and Black in European sizes 37 through 48. The Sparco X-Light is FIA approved. Sparco X-Light+ Racing Shoes The Sparco X-Light+ is the ultimate ultra-lightweight racing shoe. It was designed for the top level of professional drivers looking to save weight in every possible way while maintaining safety and high performance. The X-Light + is the only racing shoe on the market featuring a full fabric upper. This unique fireproof stretch fabric was developed by Sparco engineers to be breathable and durable while maintaining heat- and flame-resistance. The X-Light+ stretch fabric wraps around the foot like a second skin, preventing dust, soil, and other materials from entering the shoe. Kevlar cables woven into the upper give your foot just the right amount of support. This combination provides an extremely comfortable, highly breathable fit while offering a high level of protection. The X-Light+ is also the only racing shoe on the market with a carbon fiber midsole. This special carbon fiber was developed by Sparco engineers in the Sparco OEM Seating Division. Uniquely developed to be flexible, this carbon fiber is inlayed into the sole and runs from the heel to the toe. Carbon fiber is visible through the ultra-thin, oil-resistant, antistatic outsole, offering exceptional pedal sensitivity. The cushioned inner sole of the X-Light+ has a unique printed silicon pattern, giving this racing shoe added traction and pedal feel.
