A2-032 Girodisc 2pc REAR Brake Rotors (350mm)
Girodisc A2-032 Girodisc 2pc REAR Brake Rotors (350mm) $1,300.00
The Girodisc system is an upgrade to a 350mm two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination, a direct replacement for the OEM brake disc. The two-piece floating disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements -- as opposed to a big brake kit -- your factory brake bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. Girodisc rotors are lighter than the OEM rotors, reducing rotational and unsprung weight for quicker acceleration and suspension response. When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads and Thunderhill RF1 racing brake fluid (also available from Thunderhill), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured in the USA from cast iron, made to the same specification and with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotor's curved-vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from braking while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by Grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise typically associated with floating rotors. The two-piece Girodisc design allows for rotor-ring only replacement to minimize future replacement costs. Priced per pair

Race Technologies RE10 Brake Pad - 2336.18.RE10
Race Technologies Race Technologies RE10 Brake Pad - 2336.18.RE10 $549.00
RT RE10*:RE10 is the ultimate endurance race compound offering a balance of excellent stopping power, low thermal conductivity, extremely low pad and disc wear. Utilizing the latest friction material technology, RE10 offers consistent performance under the most demanding of environments. Typical Applications: Professional Endurance Racing, Club Racing, and HPDE on high demand brake platforms *Denotes a "race only" pad. Running a "racing use only" pad on the street could produce excessive noise and dust. Disc wear could be accelerated if driven at cold temperatures or used in the incorrect temperature range. Racing pads are designed to work in specific temperature ranges so it is important to choose the desired compound for the correct environment the vehicle will be used in. Pad Compounds are run on a brake dynamometer over multiple brake applications (stops) to test the materials in a controlled environment for the most accurate data. Wear rates and temperatures can be influenced by car setup, grip levels, track layout/configuration and many other variables.
