This allows Driving Instructors, Auto Manufacturing Test Engineers, and others in cars with 3-point harnesses to have added protection. Test the amount of head movement by moving the head straight forward. The driver should have 1” to 2” of forward head movement before the slack is taken out of the tether. Remember when checking this not to rotate the head down; translate it straight forward. This should allow for plenty of head movement on track. Airbag Use with the Simpson Hybrid S Head and Neck Restraint: No one should unhook or disable the airbag system installed by the auto manufacturer or their authorized installer. Standard shields also come in clear, light tint and dark smoke. The most effective helmet is one that fits properly. To measure your head, have an assistant use a dressmaker's tape or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head. Start at a point about an inch above your eyebrows, looping around the back of your head at the point that results in the largest measurement, and finally around to the front again. It's a good idea to take two or three measurements to make sure you have the largest one. This helmet will ship to you with signature required for delivery.
