The Highest Dry Boiling Point Racing Brake Fluid You Can Buy
CMS Performance RF1 fully synthetic Racing Brake Fluid is formulated to provide the highest performance under racing and track-day conditions, where braking systems operate at very high sustained temperatures. RF1 exceeds all DOT 3 & 4 requirements and is compatible with all DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 fluids. (Not compatible with DOT5 or mineral-based brake fluids.)
There is perhaps no single safety system more important in racing than brakes. And no part of that system is more critical than brake fluid. At Competition Motorsport, we got tired of (and a little nervous) using "racing" brake fluid on the track that didn't live up to its claimed performance.
So we did something about it. Manufactured in partnership with Orthene Chemicals, a British brake fluid supplier to professional race teams in Formula 1, WEC, and many other pro series, CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid is formulated to maintain consistent viscosity, lubricity, and compressibility at extreme temperatures and line pressures found in racing, track days, and spirited driving.
Bottom line: you can spend more money, but you can't buy higher-performing racing brake fluid!
CMS Performance RF1 Racing Brake Fluid Specifications:
Typical dry boiling point: 622° F (328° C)
Typical wet boiling point: 399° F (204° C)
Exceeds DOT3 & DOT4 standards
Individual 500 ml (16.7 oz.) bottles

A Note About Brake Fluid Boiling Points
DOT 4 brake fluid like RF1 is hygroscopic, meaning it attracts water over time sitting in your brake lines and reservoir. At high brake temperatures, this water can boil in your car's brake lines, causing the fluid in the lines to become compressible. That's what you feel when you experience brake fade. This is why the "wet" (aged fluid) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (brand new fluid) boiling point.
Since time is the enemy of brake fluid performance, the best practice is to replace your racing brake fluid before each track event/weekend. At a minimum, flush it with new fluid at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. A couple bottles of fluid will flush most sports cars or race cars. It ends up being pretty cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way.
Girodisc
Girodisc Pad Spreader GDPS01
$250.00
Girodisc Brake Pad Spreader
This indispensable tool is used by race teams, shops, and enthusiasts alike who have high performance four- and six-piston calipers. The spreader is designed to spread brake pads and pistons in four- and six-piston calipers to facilitate quick replacement of pads and/or rotors in a shop or racing environment. No more screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, or C-clamps! This tool will retract the pistons evenly and all the way back into their bores with one squeeze of the levers. The Girodisc spreader was designed around popular four-piston and six-piston calipers from Brembo, AP Racing, Alcon, and other performance calipers in racing and road use. To help fit in any caliper, the amount of throw is adjustable.Insert the spreading plates one way for wider six-piston calipers, then turn the spreader 90o and use the plate sides for four-piston calipers. The Girodisc Pad Spreader is made from heavy-gauge steel and is powder-coated for durability. The slider is cadmium-plated, and nylon pivot bushings ensure smooth action. The Girodisc Pad Spreader will quickly become an invaluable tool for any race team, shop, or enthusiast who changes pads and rotors with any frequency.

A1-154 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors (OEM PCCB)
$1,900.00
PORSCHE 991 GT3, GT3RS, AND GT2RS (2014 +) WITH PCCB BRAKES
This 410mm Girodisc conversion system is a direct FRONT rotor replacement for the Porsche 991 and 991.2 GT3, GT3RS, AND GT2RS originally equipped with PCCB brakes. These two-piece floating rotors will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly.
You must use must use the pad shape used on the 991 GT3 with iron rotors. The annulus (pad swept height) of these rotors is smaller than the PCCBs to keep rotor weight low and allow far better pad selection.
By upgrading your brakes with lightweight high-performance Girodisc rotors (paired with Girodisc A2-154 rear rotors), your factory brake bias and ABS efficiency are maintained. The low rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and transient suspension response. Most racers replace the factory PCCBs with steel two-piece rotors to avoid the inevitable damage to the fragile carbon ceramic discs when swapping wheels at the track!
When used with Pagid 4924 or PFC racing brake pads and Thunderhill RF1 Racing brake fluid, you have an amazing, durable solution to cracked or broken carbon-ceramic rotors at a fraction of the cost of the factory PCCBs.
The hat of each rotor is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron using the same specs and materials as professional racing organizations. The curved-vane design acts as a centrifugal pump to force cool air through the disc.
The disc and hat mount together using a floating mount system with high-strength alloy steel drive pins and Grade 12 cap screws. The drive pins transfer braking load while maintaining axial and radial float between the disc and hat to accomodate heat expansion. Hardened washers and anti-noise springs eliminate the rattle and noise sometimes associated with floating rotors.
The two-piece Girodisc design allows for disc-only replacement (using Girodisc D1-154); the aluminum hats are re-usable.

The low rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and transient suspension response. Most racers replace the factory PCCBs with steel two-piece rotors to avoid the inevitable damage to the fragile carbon ceramic discs when swapping wheels at the track!
When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads and Thunderhill RF1 Racing brake fluid, you have an amazing, durable solution to cracked or broken carbon-ceramic rotors at a fraction of the cost of replacing the factory PCCB units.
The central hat section of each disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron which is constructed in the USA and is made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors curved-vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes eight to ten high-strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. These alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by Grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors.
The two-piece Girodisc design allows for rotor only replacement as well to minimize future replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling.

A2-146 Girodisc 2pc REAR Brake Rotors
from $1,700.00
FITS PORSCHE 911 GT3& GT3RS / GT2RS (2014+) REAR WITH STEEL BRAKES
The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc on the 991 GT3, GT3RS, and GT2RS with OEM iron rotors. No modifications are necessary, allows use of factory unmodified pads unlike most aftermarket solutions for this application. The disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OE calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight high performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency.
The central hat section of the Girodisc rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from their own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 12 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.
Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.
When used with Pagid or PFC racing brake pads and hi-temp RF1 racing brake fluid, you have what amounts to a truly amazing solution to overheating or warping rotors.
If your car came with OEM center lock wheels please select the center lock drive pin option.
